Serving Latah County
for nearly 50 years

The Southeast Moscow Water & Sewer District provides wastewater collection for over 250 households in the area east of the cemetery in Moscow, Idaho.

Our Story

The Southeast Moscow Water & Sewer District was formed in 1974 so individual
septic tanks could be connected within a developed area as there were significant
wastewater issues. The project was funded by households within the district
through bonds and grants over the course of several years.

Location

The Southeast Moscow Water & Sewer District begins just east of the Moscow Cemetery at Ridgeview Drive. It continues south to Palouse River Drive, east to Lenville Road, and north to Robinson Park Road.

The Sewer District contains both city and county residents.

How it works

Our sewer system flows into the city of Moscow’s sewers for treatment. The city collects our fees, oversees hookups to our system and maintains the lines. Our board of directors handle county and state requirements, and keep residents
up-to-date on developments and actions.
